2023 Backroads Music Festival raises $17K

The 2023 Backroads Music Festival held at Ashland’s Country Drive Golf Course on Saturday, June 3, went out with bang! The event helped to raise $17,000 for Friends of Roatan and the Flower’s Bay Children’s Community Center.

Ten bands, countless sponsors and vendors collaborated to make this year’s event bigger than ever! There was a classic car show starting at noon and continuing through the afternoon while live music, dancing and vendors held the entertainment under the sun. The festival even closed with a fireworks show, courtesy of a festival sponsor Bellino Fireworks.

Funds from the event will continue to help make improvements in the children center curriculum and building by providing needed materials and updates.
